YES, it's inspired from the Seoul CF. And YES, it's a spur-of-the-moment fic once again. I, myself, am surprised with this sudden "pairing" too but these two are my faves from both groups and I believe it's unfair to not write something about them. I am half-asleep while typing this so I apologize for any wrong grammar or whatnot. Point it out and I'll edit later.

First off, I'll tell you about my current addiction *drumrolls* CHOI SOOYOUNG. :D Uh, I know she belongs to SNSD but still SHE GOT ME! Oh noes YES! I used to be apathetic when it comes to SNSD; y'know, not-hating-but-not-liking... okay, maybe a bit leaning to the not-liking XD

I've had negative vibes with the group even when I first saw their Kissing You MV ('cept for one part). The scene sorta looks like this:

Dormmate 1: there's a new girl group in Korea!
Me: So?
Dormmate 2: Watch this vid!
*plays Kissing You MV*
Me: I think I just acquired diabetes from all the sugarpoppiness.
Dormmate 1: they're supposed to be the female SuJu.
Me: NO @#$%^&*&^#$%^&*&^%$ WAY!!!
Dormmate 2: nothing you can do, matey!
Me: ugh, they all look alike. Same surgeon, eh? He he he
Dormmate 1: kya kya kya *laughs like a demented hyena*
Me: (to Dormmate 1) honestly, they all look the sa--- hey, who's the Alice-in-Wonderland girl? She looks like Song Hye Kyo.
Dormmate 2: I forgot her name.
Me: Teehee she is bullying Donghae.
Dormmate 1: Pft, I don't like them.
Me: ooooooh... THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SHOWING ME THIS?!
Dormmate 1: well, it's like this... *started enumerating reasons*

The vid ended, my dormmate continued her speech, and my repressed animosity towards SNSD started. Fast forward twenty months later, I found myself fangirling over SooYoung. I blame it on a HaeSica fanfic. I hate Jessica and I have to google about her and plot her downfall. I traced her band and started digging skeletons in their closet when by some weird turn of events, I met the Alice-girl once again. After reading numerous articles, I concluded that I LIKE LOVE HER!

Ah, so how, you ask, did she win my heart? Say, TALLEST member in the group, BIG EATER (Mighty ShikShin), VIOLENT, NON-CUTESY, dorky, funny, WITTY, SMART (she's the youngest person to win in SGB, and that's an effin' hard gameshow!), tomboy, honest, straightforward, down-to-earth, non-scandalous... To sum it up, so non-stereotypicalSNSDish. You get it.

Apparently, she's the most loved and least hated among antis. Heck, a lot of fans support the MinYoung (and now KyuYoung) pair! Yes, yes my KyuMin days are sooo over because I'm totally torn between MinYoung and KyuYoung now. (I honestly don't know what to feel) SooYoung is so underrated it breaks my heart. I'd prefer she leave that group (and bring Yuri and SoeHyun with her). So there, SY is win and I think I'll be writing fics about her the next time around. :D

THIS IS A RANT. I AM TOO EMOTIONAL TO WRITE A STRUCTURED POST. I WILL POUR MY HEART AND LET MY EMOTIONS SPILL OUT THE WORDS. WHEN MY SOBRIETY AND DILIGENCE KICKS IN (God knows when), I'LL WRITE YOU AN ARGUMENTATIVE PAPER PROVING NON-MUTUAL EXCLUSIVITY BETWEEN PSYCHOLOGY AND POP CULTURE AND ON HOW CULTURE, TRADITION, AND SOCIETAL NORMS EXACERBATES NEGATIVE REPERCUSSIONS WHEN USED ON VARIED CONTEXTS.

Okay, it's on the news. And people were all hovering on him right now. I do know the complications of DUI and how big the trouble Kangin is facing now.  But I still stand that the least we could do as fans is NOT gang up on him on times like these. Some fish-brained netizens are blabbing on how his depression should not be an excuse for his blunders and how stupid he is for not hiring a cab/running away/turning himself in/wearing that ridiculous white hoodie for the nth time, blah blah blah...

Seriously, he apologized and has turned himself in. And even if we all know that it's not enough, we should at least give him the credit for taking responsibility for his actions NO MATTER HOW LATE IT HAS BEEN.

So, where exactly do we enter the picture? As a mob of angry fans rubbing in his face how big a-disappointment he is? The guy is currently on the lowest point of his life and all people ever think about is how this bad publicity could contribute to a SuJu social death! Damn, guys. HOW INSENSITIVE CAN YOU GET?

Do you know what's been running through my mind while reading the news? SUICIDE. And in case you're living under a rock, DEPRESSION IS A SERIOUS ISSUE FOR S.KOREAN CELEBRITIES. Hello? Choi Jin Sil, anyone? Jeong Da Bin? Yuri? damn. The list goes on...

Kangin is on his darkest moments now and we'll never know when he's gonna break. HE KNOWS THAT HE SCREWED UP BIG TIME. AND HE KNOWS THAT HE SHOULD PAY FOR IT. Let's not turn our backs on him.

All of you has probably gone through a rough phase in your life when you know you've screwed up so bad you can't even look at yourself in the mirror. So, think about how worse it could've been if you're a celebrity. DISAPPOINTMENT POWER UP, EH? You get the picture.

So there. EQUATION FOR EASY UNDERSTANDING:
Kangin screwed up + he pays for the consequences + lessons learned = HAPPY ENDING.

This might break your hearts but honestly, the part where the audience keeps throwing "why did you do it?" and "I like you but you disappoint me" is not really part of the formula.

Kangin needs all the help he can get now. HE NEEDS US.
